The Course

This is an easy-to-follow program designed specifically for those new to the practice of meditation. Whether you're looking to reduce stress, improve your concentration, or find a moment of peace in your daily life, this course will be helpful. We explore a variety of meditation techniques, from focused attention to movement meditations. This course includes information on how to create a conducive space and routine that will help you to stick with it.

The last section of this course is a link to Vimeo Videos where Sofia will post ongoing meditation videos so you can continue to be engaged in practice with new videos.

Having a meditation buddy is key to getting started and sustaining practice. Please reach out to be connected to others in the course to establish practice check-ins.

Your instructor

Dr. Sofia Forman is a clinical psychologist in supervised practice. Her area of focus is on perinatal mental health. She received her MA from Columbia University and her Doctorate in Berkeley, California at the Wright Institute. She has lived and studied at the San Francisco Zen Center where she was a resident.
